Ivan's POV
She hugged me tightly and buried her face against my chest. Aarav slowly coughs "Ahem...Ahem..." I glare at him and he shrugs his hands while giving a apologetic look. Her hand slowly touch my arm and she backs off but the moment her gaze dropped to the blood spreading through my shirt which now was on her hands, something inside her changed. All that remained was fear, raw and unguarded, the kind that couldn't be faked even if she wanted to. She stared at the stain as though it was growing larger right in front of her, and I watched every bit of color drain from her face.
When I first began writing, I never planned to put a price on my chapters. But after giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to make some chapters paid. My promise to you is that I'll do my absolute best to make every paid chapter worth your time and support. (Please forgive me if somewhere you feel my chapters are not worth your money, and feel free to never spend money again. I still respect your decision.) The money I receive won't be for my personal use. Instead, I want to use it to help those who need it most- children I see near traffic signals, elderly people in need, or stray dogs who deserve food and care. I'll also try to share these moments on my Instagram so you can see where your support is going. I'm naturally socially awkward and not someone who's comfortable filming everything, so it may not always be easy, but I'll do my best to be as transparent as I can.
