Please, please do not copy my stories. You may not know but I have spent so much time in these so please be kind and don't copy them. Thank you in advance.
Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, events, or places is purely coincidental unless explicitly stated. This story is a work of fiction created for entertainment purposes.
Helloooo, my Dreamers and Pokemons🫶
I don't know if you actually read these author's notes or just skip straight to the chapter, but if you're here... thank you. Read the whole note. So, let me tell you how this story came into existence.
1. The Idea Behind This Story
My sister has known about my writing for quite a while now. One day, after reading yet another one of my stories, she looked at me and said,- "You're so delusional. Why is the guy always rich? Make the girl fall for a poor or middle-class man for once."
And honestly... she had a point. Since I belong to a village (even though I've been living in the city since childhood), I thought... Why not write a village hero?
Most of the customs, traditions, restrictions, and social norms you'll read in this story are things I've seen around me. I haven't personally experienced many of them because I've been fortunate enough to have very supportive parents, but I've witnessed them happening to others. While this story is fictional, I've tried to include small glimpses of real society along the way.
2. Why I Started Another Story
Yes... I know my previous stories are still ongoing and no, I haven't forgotten them. Even if I have only five or six readers, I don't want to make them wait forever because those stories are my babies. I've spent countless hours planning them, outlining them, crying over them, and rewriting them. (Vaidehi: The Destroyer's Calm is still in the planning stage because I'm completely confused about what to add in the middle. 😭)
This story is something I'm writing mostly for fun, something I can work on whenever I need a little break from my darker or more emotionally exhausting stories.
Will people read it? I honestly don't know but I thought... Why not? One thing I can promise, though, is that this story will make you laugh while secretly making you emotional too.
3. About My Writing
It's completely okay if my writing style or my stories aren't your cup of tea. Everyone has different preferences, and that's perfectly fine. You're always welcome to share your opinions and suggestions- just please be kind while doing so.
Constructive criticism is always welcome. The rest is... outcome. (Look at the rhyming, hehehe)
4. Upload Schedule
I probably won't have a fixed upload schedule, maybe one chapter a week or two or maybe whenever my work schedule decides to spare me.
(Who am I kidding? I'm saying this now, and if this story starts getting votes and readers, I'll probably panic and start uploading frequently. 😂)
So... Let's see what happens.
5. Editing
I always try my best to proofread and edit every chapter before posting but sometimes life gets busy, work life tension, or I simply miss a few mistakes. If you find grammatical errors or typos, please forgive me and if you point them out politely, I'll happily correct them.
7. Follow Me
You can find me on Instagram: @reeta_writes (The account with fewer than ten followers... for now.) If you spend your money on any of the chapter know I want to use it to help those who need it most- children I see near traffic signals, elderly people in need, or stray dogs who deserve food and care. I'll also try to share these moments on my Instagram so you can see where your support is going. I'm naturally socially awkward and not someone who's comfortable filming everything, so it may not always be easy, but I'll do my best to be as transparent as I can.
You can follow me on Wattpad too: Reeta__20
8. A Little Message for my Pokemons
If you're reading this while going through a difficult phase, if life feels unfair, if you're struggling silently or if today simply wasn't your day... please remember this: You have survived every difficult day you've faced so far. You're much stronger than you give yourself credit for, be patient with yourself, be kind to yourself. Take one step at a time and don't forget to smile a little for me. ❤️
Thank you for giving my little story a chance. I hope these characters find a place in your heart.
Happy Reading!
